Bangkok provides a wide variety of tourist attractions, shopping and nightlife to keep the average person going indefinitely and there’s easy access to fun cities and beach sites in Pattaya, Hua Hin and Koh Samet or further afield via short flights to Phuket, Chiang Mai and Koh Samui.  So extend your stay to enjoy the sights or just have a round of golf and a quiet beer.

Visas: Tourists from most Countries are permitted to stay 15-30 days in the Kingdom without a visa but please check with your local Thai Embassy or Consul office.

Passports: It is recommended that travellers secure their passport in the hotel and just carry a photocopy. Lost or stolen passports need to be reported to your Embassy as soon as you are able but none work on weekends so your contact will be with the Duty Officer in your Home capital city. Time consuming and frustrating & to be avoided!!

Currency & ATMs: Currency is in Thai Baht and Currency Exchanges and ATMs are located around the Airport and everywhere in the City, 7 days a week. They are English language capable and accept all major cards. ATM withdrawals with some machines is limited to Bt 20,000/day. We do recommend using ATM’s in front of banks as they usually have a security guard present to ensure that ATM skimmers are not installed.
