Bangkok International Tens 23/24 February 2008 at Bangkok Patana School, the Jam Boys were 10-0 Cup winners over the Beersheba Black Sheep after a tough match, half time scoreline 5-0. Plate winners were Royal Bangkok Sports Club over the Pie Men Select, 35-7. In the Bowl, Insead A beat the FABs, 19-7 and in the Shield, Grammar-Carlton beat the Bangkok Japanese 21-12.

The 9th Pattaya International Rugby 10s Horseshoe Point,
3rd, 4th May 2008, Cup winners were Thai Barbarians who beat Southerners Gold, Bkk; Plate winners were Werthers Originals (Bognor, UK) over the Red Dot Rebels from Singapore, and the Bowl winners were Pattya Panthers over Mahasarakham University, Thailand.

The TRU format for their top-level clubs will likely be four Pools of 4 teams with the finishing positions determining allocation to 1st to 4th Divisions where semi-finals and finals will determine winners in each. Season normally starts around early August.
